Tabooes and prescripts of human afterlife (as exemplified by materials of Vladimir and Yaroslavl regions)

It is noticed by author that there is variety of traditional norms regulating optimal ‘career’ of one’s soul in the afterlife. We can distinguish several groups of texts dealing with various stages of a soul’s cource to the Divine throne (road to the next world, meeting with a guide, overcoming of barriers), correctness of behavior of relatives of the late person etc.
