Reenactment: norms and folklore of a subculture

The article analyses specific features of reenactors in Russia. The long history of the subculture has formed a rather heterogeneous community, in which folklore performs the function of development and support of norms and of making sense of current events. The reenactment scene also actively accumulates folklore texts of other subcultures adapting them to its own needs.
