The historical transformations the ballad plot of Vanyusha Klyuchnik

In this article the author describes the functional changes of the ballad plot of Vanyusha Klyuchnik. The focus is brought on the comparative analysis of versions of a new ballad, the origins of which can be traced to a poem by V. Krestovsky, and transformations of the folk plot in literature.
