Eschatological attitudes of the old believe population of the Russian-Ukrainian-Belorussian border zone

In the article based on the materials of joint and independent expeditions of authors in the Bryansk region of Russia, the Chernigov region of Ukraine and the Gomel region of Belarus the auther consider the problem of eschatological attitudes and their evolution of the old believe population of region throughout the XX — early XXI centuries. Representations about signs of the Doomsday are analyzed and transition from the general strategy to a personal way of rescue («from big to small eschatology») is shown.
