The wedding ceremonial complex of Ukrainians of the Omsk region

In the study of traditional cultural heritage of Ukrainian migrants the author proposes a comprehensive approach to the study of the wedding rituals of the Ukrainians of the Omsk region indicative for Ukrainian traditional culture. The research work is based on the expedition materials and results of the analysis of various local wedding traditions in the Omsk region. The author restores a full ethnographic description of the wedding ceremony, the typology of ritual paraphernalia, and folk songs.
