Vasiliy Pavlovich Prokunin: fragments of biography

The name of Vasily P. Prokunin is almost forgotten nowadays. Meanwhile, at the end of the 19th century he was well known as an outstanding folklorist, composer, pianist, and a music teacher. In the article the autor makes the first attempt to write his detailed biography based on the archive materials and the publications of the 1870—1900s.
