The tales by Arkady Gaydar and the parallels to them in the modern folklore and Internet folklore

The tales by Arkady Gaydar are analysed in this article. These author’s tales were created by the writer with the use of folklore fairy themes and images. In turn, Gaydar’s vivid imagery became objects of parody in different genres of Internet folklore: Internet tales, Internet jokes, false advertisement, etc. Some of Gaydar’s fairy characters occur in offline folklore.
