Stones of happiness and love: one of the new ritual traditions in a city

In this article one of the recent ritual traditions that came in sight at the end of the 20th century is considered. It represents the worship of so-called “stones of happiness”. Many people believe that touching such stones makes wishes fulfill, and has a positive effect on people. The appearance of this tradition is associated with both traditional beliefs in the magical power of stones, and natural sacred sites in general, and with the current trends in the national cultural policy.
