The South Karelian Epic Song «Courtship in the Mythical Country Hijtola» in the Context of the Karelian Wedding Ceremony

The contributed article describes the analysis of the South Karelian epic song about the matchmaking in the context of the traditional wedding ceremonial rites. The correlation between folklore text and the wedding rites as well as the special protective features of the concerned rune was founded.
