Some forms of interaction between the traditional Slavic and Finno-Ugrian cultures

In the article the author finds out the most productive forms of interaction between Russians and Finno-Ugrians that live in the Volga region (Mari, Mordva) in the field of their traditional culture. These forms are apperception, interference, and joint creativity. Each form is presented by the material of a specific text group (rhymes (chastushka/tokmak), fairytales, historical songs and stories, rites of going from door to door).
