Body

Rules, being a steady component of traditional culture, including a wedding ritual, are fixed both in ethnographic descriptions of a wedding, and poetic texts of a wedding ceremony. On material of wedding speeches and rhymes the author considers a problem of a verbal manifestation (display) of the prohibitions and prescriptions known in culture and functioning in a wedding: in particular, how rules are fastened in the wedding rhymes, frequency of their using in texts, productiveness ore unproductiveness of different rule’s representations; the mechanisms of the embodiment of prohibitions and prescriptions in poetic texts, descriptions illustrating consequences of violation of this or that rule present in the rhymes, ways and mechanisms of description of the consequences which are caused by violation of prohibition and rules).
