This article is an overview of archive sources and publications that allows presenting development path of music folkloristics of Prikamye over the period 1850-s — 1890-s. The focus of the author is highlighted on folkloristic activities of A. M. Lukanin, N. Voronov, G. Luchnikov, V. A. Popov, P. A. Vologdin, P. A. Nekrasov. Those admirers of lived antiquity were one of the first who felt the need for fixing music component of the Prikamye song folklore. The work provides information about the circumstances of recorded melodies, impressions of collectors about the nature of its performance, indication of the genres identity and ethnographical context of the existence of song forms. In the generalized form features of these auditional notations are analyzed.
