The modern stories about the «bad» places in the historical area of Guslitsy

The article deals with the modern stories about the «bad» places, prevalent in the historical area Guslitsy in the Eastern part of the Moscow region. Before Guslitsy was inhabited by old believers who had come here and created an original culture. In case of the changing of historical and natural conditions Guslitsy long ago turned into a developed industrial region, but here up to the beginning of the XXI century there were spread stories about the «damned» places, «cemeteries suicide», wizards, etc. This oral tradition is preserved not only the older generation but also the youth.
