This article presents a historiographic summary of research and publications in current Ossetian Nart studies. It is compiled on the basis of the locality principle and includes research by scientists of V. I. Abayev North Ossetian Institute of Humanities and Social Studies from the beginning of the twenty-first century to the present. The corpus of major studies is given in the form of brief annotations, and a complete list of scholarly studies is presented in an appendix. This scholarly corpus includes works by experts from various domestic and foreign research centers and aims to help systematize Nart studies. Its creation was initiated by folklorists of the A. M. Gorky Institute of World Literature of the Russian Academy of Sciences. This article represents a logical continuation of similar surveys that cover the beginning of the study of kadags until the end of the twentieth century. It is part of a larger tradition of studying the North Caucasian epic heritage and scholarly efforts to create an exhaustive historiographic corpus that reflects the synchronic and diachronic state of Nart studies from its origins to the present day.
