“Good” and “Bad” Places for Inhumation (Based on Data from Polesie)

The article discusses differences between two types of dead and appropriate places for their inhumation. Righteous, “clean” dead are buried in sacred earth of cemetery, although sometimes in the domestic grounds. “Unclean” dead are mostly buried in boundaries of cemeteries, but more traditional places for them are crossroads, forests, hills, banks of lakes and rivers etc.
