Folkloric images of space and time in the poem Cranes by N. Rubtsov

The article explores the role of spatial and temporal patterns of folklore in the poem “Cranes” by N. Rubtsov. We show how the desire for continuity, the synthesis of earthly, heavenly, temporary, transient, and eternal is embodied in images typical for Russian national consciousness.
