Folk songs of Kharkov Polytech students in 1950-s — early 1960-s

The article analyzes folk songs of Kharkov Polytechnic Institute which circulated in 1950-s — early 1960-s. The variation of a number of folklore text is shown, including such songs as «Electricity», «Columbus discovered America», «The Sultan», «A song about Leo Tolstoy».
