Folk Musical Instruments of the Ob Ugrians: extinction and revival of the tradition

The article is dedicated to instrumental music of the Ob Ugrians (Khanty and Mansi). The author characterizes of the situation with folk music instrumental culture in the 1980s, and contemporary instrumental tradition revived through the efforts of enthusiasts.
