Deiparous apocryphal stories in handwritten tradition of Upper Vychegda peasants

The present article considers the handwritten tradition which has arisen in the basin of the Vychegda River among locals who practice Old Belief. The special attention is paid to apocryphal texts written in Komi language which had been created and occurred in this region at the late XIX — early XX century.
