Body

The paper analyzes contemporary phenomenon in the folk cult of saint Paraskeva among the Serbs. Special attention is paid to the issue of the continuity of the cult. Examples of recorded narratives and observed behavior at "sacred sites" dedicated to saint Paraskeva, display new elements of the cult and popular depictions (appearance and attributed functions) of this saint.
