The character of Doctor in Russian drama of the late 17th—18th centuries and in Tsar Maximilian folk play

Doctor is a popular character of Russian drama of the end of 17th — 18th ñånturies and the folk play “Tsar Maximilian”. There are some similar features in its interpretation in intermedia and folk play, but the difference of these theater systems defines specific character of the figure in each of them.
