Animal husbandry is essential to economy and the way of living of majority of the Altaians living in Altay Republic now. Although it is not limited (neither economically, nor socially, nor culturally) by herding itself, but includes other economic activities which overall represent a system of social relations of the Altaians. The system of social relations reflects how contemporary culture adapts to the challenges’ of social complication, creates mechanisms for integration of various ways of life and makes them mean cultural.
